The American Enterprise Institute (“AEI”) makes the Agency curriculum available at no cost to support educators and other educational users. By accessing or downloading the Agency curriculum, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. Information collected through curriculum registration is subject to AEI’s Privacy Policy.
Permission is granted to download one copy of the Agency curriculum for personal or classroom use. Lessons, worksheets, assessments, and other classroom materials may be reproduced as reasonably necessary for use with your own students or participants.
This license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and granted solely for noncommercial educational purposes. It is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
Third-Party Materials. The curriculum contains materials owned by third parties, identified by source credits. The license granted in this Section 2 applies only to content owned by AEI. Your reproduction and use of third-party materials within the curriculum is limited to use in connection with the curriculum for noncommercial educational purposes consistent with fair use, and remains subject to the rights of the respective owners. AEI grants no license, express or implied, in third-party materials, and you are responsible for obtaining any permissions required for uses beyond those described in these Terms.
AEI makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the Agency curriculum. However, the curriculum may contain technical, typographical, or other errors. AEI reserves the right to revise, update, or discontinue the curriculum at any time and encourages users to obtain the most current version directly from AEI.
Except as expressly set forth in these Terms and Conditions of Use, no right, title, or interest is granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise. All rights not expressly granted under these Terms and Conditions of Use are expressly reserved by AEI. AEI retains all rights, titles, and interests in and to the Agency curriculum, including all copyrights and trademarks, except that third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners as described in Section 2.
AEI MAKES NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE AGENCY CURRICULUM. THE AGENCY CURRICULUM IS LICENSED TO YOU “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, AND NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, ARE MADE WITH RESPECT TO THE AGENCY CURRICULUM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES THAT MAY ARISE FROM USAGE OF TRADE OR COURSE OF DEALING.
In no event, shall AEI be liable to YOU for any indirect, punitive, special, consequential, incidental, exemplary or other similar damages arising hereunder or related hereto in any causes of action of any kind ARISING out of the use of or inability to use THE AGENCY CURRICULUM provided hereunder or otherwise relating to THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information or any other pecuniary loss). AEI’s total liability to YOU for any reason shall be limited to ONE UNITED STATES DOLLAR (US$1.00) ONLY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR BREACH OF STATUTORY DUTY) OR OTHERWISE, OR FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR LIABILITY WHATSOEVER.
